All 4th and 5th grade students have the opportunity to express themselves in art class. 

Mrs. Koonce teaches students about famous artists, points out elements of their style, and invites students to imitate their work. They study how to mix colors and create paper works such as bookmarks. Students paint using different media, and they’re always encouraged to use their imagination.

Students who follow the rules and try their best may find their work hung on the wall, which is a special privilege.
