An “A” School

After assessing our performance for the 2018-2019 school year, the Mississippi State Board of Education awarded Grenada Elementary an A. We wear our A with pride and continue to make great strides in academic performance. The school scored an A again in 2021-2022, leading to the district’s first-ever A ranking.

 

Healthiest School in Mississippi

We revamped our P.E. program to highlight the correlation between physical fitness and mental acuity, which resulted in GES 4-5 being named “Healthiest School in Mississippi” by the Blue Cross Blue Shield Foundation of Mississippi.

 

Project Lead the Way School of Distinction

The Green Top’s remarkable commitment to increasing student access, engagement, and achievement through the innovative science curriculum in the Discovery Lab has drawn the interest of neighboring school districts, which often send representatives to see our programs in action.
